Hatchet Dust Jackets
This project had me taking the Hatchet series by Gary Paulsen and creating brand new jackets with a consistent design and style.
The Hatchet series by Gary Paulsen is a series beloved by many young adults. Telling the tale of a 13-year-old boy surviving the wilderness. For how famous the series is, the jackets follow different design philosophies for each book. One could easily mistake these books don’t belong in the same series. I wanted to make dust jacket covers for the first three books in the series that would be similar in their own different ways.
